Not sure about this relic business either. Whoever has the bigger zerg wins now since a smaller realm can't effectively defend multiple keeps. Camping bled/crauch was a surefire way to defend against relic loss when confronted with the alb zergs which strike multiple places at the same time with more numbers than the other realms can field. They had to take those keeps, and they can just ignore them.



I think this could actually be the first step towards shrinking down the size of NF.

I guess now the cleric / tic / friar doesn't even gotta waste the time to do that.


It acted as an interrupt and wasn't always cured due to its short duration. Not being able to disrupt the flow of a caster debuff train maintains the caster advantage so each realm will continue to play 3-5 casters in 8v8.


Makes sense.

Presumably increasing the chances of tanks on(vs) casters is really just helping them in certain cases now.

It was pretty broken in smaller scenarios though.

You can cure it, via cure nearsight. Therefore it's a nearsight. It even says, 100% nearsight.

RARE snare is win



Rear snare is nice to have and surely usefull but friars main problem is that they dont land their styles ( Not enough Dex / Weaponskill ) and that their celerity shout does not stack with their haste buff so this change wont change the fact that staff friars just suck.



And it should stay that way

Friar = warden, and warden is same way. its a healer first and a fighter second.

shouldnt be some style landing rambo tank killer.



Haste shout now co-exists with self haste, which provides 30 sec burst dps. Coupled with rear snare it makes Friars perfectly whine. Low dex/ws complaint is irrelevant, since with a bit of footwork you can send virgin rr12 heavy tanks running back to their keeps.

Small scenerios? If you got silenced, just run for the 7 seconds lol.

same crap with this new ability. if a tank pops it, just kite.

all it was good for was stopping a healer for 5 seconds, or shutting a moc'er up

also it gave you a chance solo vs an archer..

Friars do have a celerity shout too and it still wont stack with friar haste buff after this patch. At least that's how I understand it .... but maybe I dont understand it correctly cause im german

If it stacks then I am happy ^^
