Without focusing too much on the individual changes, I like this patch simply because it indicates that they are putting a little more effort into the game, and actually making some risky changes to NF to try to spice things up a little bit.
When it comes to the actual changes, I think they are all pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of silence, I don't really like the idea of /use abilities countering RAs and MLs. In all honestly, I think daoc has lately become Dark Age of Toyalot more than Castalot. With the high utility items that exist now, and people being able to cap templates pretty easily it's now all become about toys and procs. I mean, they have always mattered to some degree, but now they are actually gamebreaking.
Assassins still need a bit more toning down. Reduction to DD damage doesn't address the mechanics of the DD poison being a self buff instead of an enemy debuff, or LB damage etc.
Warp on ments is not the best of ideas.
I would like some clarification about rampage, imo if it's only going to last 20 seconds it should also purge existing stat debuffs on the group.
