This is my order:
Lower Black Rock Mountain:
Loved the problem solving in here and non-linearity and how it allowed you to rise above the other people by knowing where to go in here and what to do.
Upper Black Rock Mountain:
Same as above though it is much more linear.
Sunken Temple:
I like the top area where you have to kill certain mobs to open certain areas. Its cool.
Deadmines:
Its very linear, but I always felt it was very epic. The first time you see the pirate ship you sh** your pants.

I survived to the end and got nothing out of it, but hey.

Thinking about all of these old dungeons sure reminds me of how well done they were, compared to what we have now.
Today it's all about how quickly you can get through one and skipping bosses that are off the main path. In the old ones you more or less had to do the little bosses to open the path/spawn the later ones. Rushing through was an awesome way to get your group wiped at almost any stretch in the dungeon could wipe you. (yea yea I know, News Flash!)

Of those choices, I went with SM. However, I am with the Strath/Scholo lot. Some of those 60 dungeons that we used to raid, lol, were so epic. I really wished they had gotten updated to level 80 for WoTLK, being all about the scourge. Just like BRD, UBRS, LBRS should be 85ified for Cata.

I assume that probably 99% of the population base hasn't seen the whole instance and done all the quests available in there.
I did...which is why I can't believe how many people prefer it to the others!
Don't get me wrong...the depth and breadth were amazing, I agree with everything you said. I just got REALLY burned out on it after about the 7th time through.

I had a dream. It was an incredible dream. When I awoke, I had a huge mess to clean up.

rofl...you're showing your age there. Talk about a riot. While it was tough getting a full 15-man going for it, was still a blast.

i did ubrs like a million times on my shaman to try to get felstriker. rogues would get so pissed off at me when i announced my intention to roll. was hilarious. i enjoyed that dungeon a lot, although lbrs was more frustrating since it was so big.
i also like the dungeons that used to never be popular like razorfen as an alliance, or sunken temple, etc. its been sort of fun doing those ones with dungeonfinder recently, when u dont get stuck with retards (rare).

LOL I remember 15 man UBRS runs very well - and wiping with 15 in there. Also I remember wiping with 15 and then later 10 in Stratholme and wiping with 10 in Scholo haha.
