Bliz seems to be banking on the fact that the majority of their players are so clueless they don't even know what's happening to the game.

I wouldn't call it the final nail, yet I expect warlock players will adapt as they always do.

As always, time will tell.

It's the final nail for sure.

In fact, it's the 285th final nail!

Or maybe it is that the majority of players are clueless and so look that the changes, have no idea what is happening to the game and so the doomsaying begins. Rather appropriate the name of this expac I say. You all should join the doomsayers in the major cities I hear they are recruiting.

I hear the see-no-evil Blizzard apologists are recruiting too... oh wait, they are full up, my bad. Maybe an ostrich flock has some spots.

Come on, this is pretty much the same state that the game's been in just before an xpac every single time, "B team" or not. It's naive to think that the balancing is going to look right on live servers since we're essentially missing the stat that is responsible for a significant portion of the balancing at 85.

This time last xpac ret pallies were one shotting everyone and things looked pretty broken and surprisingly enough the world didn't end. If one were to make conclusions about WotLK endgame based on the last 2 weeks of BC you'd be wrong. Making conclusions about Cata based on the last two weeks of WotLK would be equally foolhardy.

Bitch Bitch Bitch.

I don't know how many times people have predicted the end of Warlocks.

Just an FYI for the clueless:
The game scales TOTALLY DIFFERENT BY LEVEL 85!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, on the other hand, prefer a command-line system 'cause i'm so hardcore
/north /north *You encounter an [Avatar of the god Set]!*
/cast sheild *sheild spell unavailable*
/csat shield *csat: unknown command*
*[Avatar of Set] beheads [Peasant]*

Yes, we warlocks are an adaptable bunch.

However, for those of you who don't delve much into the maths about Warlocks, this is an all around nerf to the base damage of those spells, which, in the long run, is nearly nothing. Stop worrying, because this is a nerf of about 50 dps at 80, and will be nearly unnoticeable come 85.
