yeah, i was wondering why EVERYTHING got reduced dmg. they weren't THAT op, weren't much of an issue for me on my mage in pvp (yeah yeah, another broken class QQ) and they were decent in pve *IF* the player knew what the hell they were doing.

Dunno, my warlock with destro was the highest of all my dps toons and doesn't have that amazing of gear and lacks trinkets. Apparently demo was rocking too. Affliction didn't seem that great at 80. So I can see some reductions but maybe not to EVERYTHING.

Problem is, the b-team makes changes based on "feelings," not logic, player feedback, or anything remotely sensible.

Cata changes seem pretty horrible in general but when you get the details with every patch making things worse it's reaches the unbelievable stage.

Bliz seems to be banking on the fact that the majority of their players are so clueless they don't even know what's happening to the game.

All the nerfs are in preparation for level 85, when stats on gear get buffed and people have more spellpower/attack power/int/str, etc...

My warlock is my favorite class, but even I must admit he was OP for a bit. He destroyed my DK and moonkin both with equal gear. I tried out his affliction spec and actually did a few hundred more DPS than destro. (They were basically the same.)

Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.

I wouldn't call it the final nail, yet I expect warlock players will adapt as they always do.

As always, time will tell.

The most overpowered class in the history of the game (DK) barely gets scratched while warriors and warlocks get hammered.

It someone just protesting the word "war" at Blizzard?
