I'm pretty sure sitting down and playing 9 hours is not defined as casual play time.

Sad thing is, they really think it is here.

Admittedly, that doesn't come across as casual... I have 17.5 days leave remaining this year, excluding the Xmas period which I already have 10 days booked off, plus I cannot take time off in Jan because I manage a critical business process. HENCE, I have 12.5 days to take next week and the whole of Feb... I said I wouldn't, but I actually did take Wednesday off for some WOW love!! I haven't played since and I would say that my 'general' playtime is 2-4 hours a week.
BUT... the point was, that in 9 hours of relaxed playing, defined as:
- questing (and reading the quest log as I go)
- random PVP (on a PVP server)
- leveling herbology as I go (I won't level Alchemy until I hit 85, I may even sell the herbs to start with)
- a few points in Archeology to see what it was like
- a bit of flying around Hyjal/Azshara/Orig
- scanning the AH a couple of times
- Jumping into 3/4 dungeon runs (purely based on DF queue)
and ofc making lunch, coffee's, a couple of call's, an online meeting, driving to store... so perhaps 6/7 hours of actual gaming.
To hit 2.5 levels out of 5 in that time seems... fast! The first level was extremely fast, maybe 2/2.5 hours - I did half an hour of quests, then jumped in the DF queue which including the quests just about finished off the level.
