For transportation, at least on alliance side, I find that setting your HS at Deepholm's temple offers the most convenient travel option. As you HS back to the temple, then zone through the SW portal, you will be immediately at the little portal hub isle. It's far quicker than running out the SW Mage tower, and then flying over to the isle.

Yeah, and as previous posters mention, the linear Questing is really bad. If you miss to pick up a quest that is near a quest hub, the flow of quest can just stop abruptly. Which cause you to waste much time, backtracking looking for the quest giver.

me its also the healing. on my druid i go OOM way too quick if someone do any kind of mistake. just hope gearing up will fix the problem. cause right now it is not fun anymore healing.

^^ I love seeing this. Pre expansion healing was an art. It took work. It took stategy. It took good gear, good mana, and good brains. Then during the last 2 expansions healing became a joke.

Oh shoot look out! Now you actually have to WORK at healing! 3/4 of the replys to "our LEAST favorite thing about Cata so far is" are healers who actually have to HEAL!! No easy button anymore. I miss the old days when healers where a tough find. Good ones anyways. Being a respected Priest meant people knew your name on the server. Then Blizzard dumbed it down and suddenly every idiot with a Pally, a Druid, a Shaman, or a Priest could heal, regardless almost of spec. Noone cared.

God forbid it actually be tough now. I mean one guy actually replied on this thread "ha ha I had to go dps in an instance just to have fun..." LOL do you get how stupid this is? Ok in the old days, when Healers were really Healers, you couldnt just go do a DPS run because you had to have a REAL healing spec to heal instances. As a DPS people would have laughed you out of the starting area. That was ok because you did what you did (heal), really really well. But then Blizzard made it so you could do both...sure why not be able to do everything.

I find it so funny to see people who never healed a REAL instance in their life, come onto a thread and now complain that they actually have to use Mana management now. That they actually may fail from time to time. That they cant rely on Healbot to solve all their worries. Oh my GOD you actually have to have healing gear to HEAL. You actually have to be Healing Speced to Heal good... GO FIGURE.

Another thing I don't like is the amount of stats you loose when you level up;

At Level 80 my Hit was 9.03 (overkill), Crit was 53.73 and Haste 19.23.

At level 81 Hit dropped to 6.88 Crit to 40.81 and Haste to 15.21.

At level 83 Hit is now 3.99 Crit 22.70 and Haste 8.82 and I have even replaced a couple pieces of gear with the same but higher stats!

To make matters worse 95% of the gear you get is Mastery stat laden which would mean further sacrificing in those other areas if you used them and with, I believe 179.3 = 1 mastery point it would take huge amounts for it to even matter thus not worth it.

I'd have to agree with the loss of portals as well. I have no want to go back to Dalaran or Outlands because its such a pain to get to them now.

I am also a little perturbed about the fact that I am a Resto/Boomkin druid and every piece of leather I get from a quest reward has strength and agility on it. Grrrrr!

Noticed that trend as well. Given they've always treated balance this way, I shrugged my shoulders and moved on. I think there's this assumption that druids level feral. <cough> I will assume it won't be like TBC; that there will be leather balance gear at endgame. <Coughagain>

Oh, and I think I ran across one leather chest piece in Hyjal that was supposed to be an upgrade.

And to be honest, I did get a set of shoulders there that actually were.

LMAO, you need to join Korrigan and Voqar. You can be the 3 musketeers that think anyone other than yourselves respects (or even gives a crap about) your "skill" in a video game.

And +1 for linear questing.

If you don't want to hear about how to play a video game, then maybe you should avoid video game forums altogether.
The "save the world by inventing new medicine" forums are that way <= , here we talk about World of Warcraft.

But you already know that and are just trolling to make you feel better for sucking at a game...

If you proofread your responses, how do you manage to ignore how pathetic it sounds every time you proclaim your greatness? And for the record, no one is here to "hear about HOW TO PLAY a video game". So we would probably all appreciate it if you stopped trying to teach us. Thanks in advance.
