Very few of the quests offer gear as a reward. I'm fine as I had decent gear but my RL friend is struggling against mobs with close to 40k HP and his crappy WoTLK leveling weapon still. I was hoping to get some gear to him and have him enjoy his class choice a little more.

This is a result from the blizzard B-team's complete stupidity. They funnel every single level 80 to 85 through the same few zones at the exact same time, knowing full well all of them will be leveling their crafting, all while putting not nearly enough nodes for everyone to be able to level it up.

Anyone with a single brain cell could see that this behavior would be the worst it has ever been but for some reason blizzard decided to do it anyway.

The underground mining bots are 10X worse than they ever were in WG and the gold selling market is booming (thanks to the stacks of obsidium bars selling for 600+ gold a pop)

I'm surprised nobody mentioned BoP chaos orbs in this thread, and also the fact that any moron can roll on them even if he doesn't have a trade skill using them. Making the orbs BoP is the worst thing I've seen so far, it's really back to stone age compared to the progress made in WotLK.
