Honestly, my biggest gripe so far is the fact that all the zones are packed. Competing for mob spawns is so lame. Otherwise I really like it, the underwater zones seem really well done to me so far -- I thought they had great potential to suck.

I think the Worgen starting zone had a very anti-climactic ending. Wasn't really any goodbyes -- just POOF!, off you go, good luck, buh bye. Little disappointed in that.

EDIT: Eaoch, that icon made me laugh out loud. Oh man, good times, good cereal.

The linear questing. You can't advance through a zone without doing every single quest. There's no choice in the matter.

You and the two people before you in this thread aren't the first ones to notice the railroad nature of the questing in this expansion. This complaint appears to be picking up steam.

This sort of questing style was rampant in LotRO too.

It doesn't surprise me at all for WoW, though, given the "players should have no control at all" nature of the B team design philosophies. Go somewhere before the designers intended them to go? RED ALERT! ALL HANDS ON DECK!

Thanks, but it's been fun
Five more minutes then I'm done!
I've been saying that to myself since
...yesterday.

Uh, I think they are calling it "more directed gameplay".

There are those who play tank classes, and those that tank.
The weapon is only as good as the person wielding it.
Free advice is often worth what you pay for it: nothing.

Phasing - I like a little...but this is just too much.

and thanks to the phasing, you are "directed" to areas/quests and no "freedom" to explore and find things yourself.

To add; Don't like the fact that I am at max justice points at level 80 but can't buy any armor with them until I hit 85!

regarding questing...when starting new characters like a worgen, you HAVE to do the quests in order to exit and enter into the regular world right? like with death knights. i hate that stuff i want freedom to do what i want from the start

Oh wow, that is NOT cool. I guess you could not do any dungeons till you hit 85 and just quest your way there. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours.

My least favorite thing is the lag in Orgrimmar on my server. It has peaks and valleys but it's always there. There are 3 major cities per faction, plus minor spots for Trolls, gnomes, etc, not to mention the two new areas. Why everything should have to be focused on Org/SW is beyond me.

I had a dream. It was an incredible dream. When I awoke, I had a huge mess to clean up.
