VN was around before mmorpgs had their own forums. So that generation of players is here.
I have always used the forums, never went that much to the vaults themselves.

Been lurking here since EverQuest, about 1999 or so. Played every MMO that's come out since, and always came to these boards for my information.
Since Wowhead was formed, however, I find myself going their forums for quick in-game questions and answers, but it's more robotic in nature. I only check Wowhead when I need info, and I only go to the official forums to make a suggestion now and then.
I come here for the social aspect. This place is extended internet family. It's entertaining, some people are horribly sarcastic, and most are extremely intelligent. And it's got soul.
You are all completely out of your minds, making you some of the sanest people around.  |
