You won't find a quote of mine saying that. I was just having gentle fun at the newfound Rift fanboys, nothing more... not like it's something the WoW haters wouldn't do

SWTOR: 50 Jedi Shadow (Tank), 50 Sith Marauder (Annihilation).
LOTRO: Lifetime account, playing very casually.
WoW: Both accounts canceled for now.
GW2: Future Warrior.

Been happily testing out there for hours. Very smooth, no hiccups. One quick update that lasted all of 2 mins. And now down for 30 mins for another one.

Going fairly well.

Even managed to keep the conversation reasonable when foaming at the mouth fanbois came in and started ripping into everything. Amazing what wishing them well will do.

One guy even questioned my sincerity and we had a nice discussion about whether it was necessary to bad mouth other games, or consider them competition. Some of us in chat explained we play multiple games.

=D

Anyone in your group fiddled with a warden/druid/shaman? Seems pretty melee intensive so far.. but only lvl 7. Was looking for a more caster oriented heals.

i'm skipping the "jerks" in chat and helping people with actual questions, it seems to shut up the "bad ones" when no one is falling for their crap.
of course, as soon as i made lvl 11, things got a lot more quiet. lol

I've rolled a druid/shaman/warden 5 times for testing and love it.

Plays like a ret pally with a casting/healing pet.

I'm sold on this being my first character out there, both for group support/healing and "off-tanking" dps.

It's very solid.

I'm currently playing a justicar/Sentinal/Purifier, pretty cool having tanking defense, instant heals and bubbles

Planning to make my dual spec: purifier/sent/warden for heavy healing and bubbles.

And yes, the druid/shaman are melee heavy.

Haven't tested purifier for solo. I was also looking for a caster/healer type.

Well let me know if you find one, this current setup feels a lot like a friar from daoc which was a favorite just adding a pet to the mix. Need that ranged heals too though.. Looked like purifier/cabalist/something may have been a decent ranged healer.

i have a lvl 26 shaman, sent, purifier, love the shaman.

I tried druid, and hated the pet, so scrapped that instantly, though I might go: Shaman/Druid(never use pet)/Warden just to get the melee boosts from the druid (crit rate etc)

EDIT:
That would be an alt, my main is going to be a bard/assassin/bladedancer
