To get away from the lame kiddy EGO debate.
I would like to see Rested XP raise faster. At this time I can burn through a nights of rest in a few minutes. Even waiting a week and I'm into red after the first instance. I agree with the cap but a x2 or better growth rate would make guys like me very happy. I agree that not everyone is running around with 17 players so few have my play style. The question was asked and I had an answer. My veiws tend to be focused on my play style. Others will have different play styles which makes for different views.

I was tempted to post a double facepalm picture, but the forums got better recently so I don't want to ruin it...
Seriously, leveling is so fast nowadays... can't you just play WITHOUT rest XP?

They should add a level 1-80 slider bar to character creation, obverusly.

I don't level without rested xp either. Luckily, I ALWAYS have rested xp since I can usually only play about 3 hours per week....

i'm an altoholic and i never played all that much to begin with so i used to make sure i was playing a toon that was rested.
after coming back to WoW and tearing through Duskwood on a lvl 20 i burned through rested REAL quick. killing only what is needed for quests, i still have 2 quest chains to go and i'm almost 28.
cant remember what i get out of the guild perk too...
but i should be almost 29 when i finish a 20-25 zone

The fact that you burn through rested xp in a few minutes after waiting a week shows you how fast exp is actually generated these days.
Forget the blue bar...just go play, and you will level plenty fast enough.

i figured that out REAL quick after coming back...i dont even bother logging out in an inn/city anymore.
i like to finish areas, another thing that i may abandon due to everything being green.

I had to think about this but I stand my my statement. Rested XP does slow down my leveling. If all XP was at rested level I would level more. If no XP was at rested level I would level more. Of course time is limited so other things would slip if all I did was level.
