i'll cop to buying one. mount looks cool, i'm still plugging away at mountain o' mounts, and i would have spent the money on booze anyway. my lock could use the mount and my liver could use the break.

maybe im just weird but i prefer the simple looking mounts compared to all these winged lions and unicorns and even the dragons. the dragons especially look silly to me since they are so huge...maybe because im a gnome. right now i use a non-epic tiger and non-epic grpyhon mount on my rogue....i do really wish i had one of the single seater rocket mounts tho.

Maybe we're both weird, I preferred this on my mage, it's compact and still looks nice imo

I paid for my brothers new account for a few months so I could get a X-53... looked awesome, but its stuck on an old account that I don't use anymore 
Don't think I would pay money for mount or pet in game even if it WTFPWNED.... I like the idea of riding a mount that nobody else has, so purchasing one that everyone can purchase (and a lot of people do purchase) just doesn't appeal. Its just a shame that I have no interest in actually farming a rare mount... so I am slinking around on my first ever windrider

Yes. I wouldn't have made it a lion... srs. There are so many other possibilities that this mount could have been. *Begin my Agent Mulder conspiracy theory* Unless this choice of the lion was very on purpose. By this I mean that in fact a majority of the players are now horde and Blizzard want to make sure they picked a mount they could sell a ton of. Not only can horde now get a similar mount to the guild level 25 mount but it flies. We can also see the trend of more horde players by the soon to be released same faction BGs. Please the horde players!
