I doubt I would. In hind sight vanilla WoW was a great experience, but if you honestly hold it up against the advances the game has made since then it's really dated and grindy. Even by today's WoW standards.

No. Rose colored glasses make it seem like vanilla was better but there are many reasons why its not as good as people make it out ot be

Agree with Quazi. Classic endgame sucked, seriously. Remember running Scholo and Stratholme over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again just to try to get that last dungeon set piece of shoulders or chest or whatever? Yeah....
People fondly remember great challenges but that is pure nostalgia talking. It was no tougher than current or even WOTLK but was FAR more grindy. BC was leagues better and WOTLK was another order of magnitude better in content and accessibility for players.

At release of the BC expac, I 100% agree with you. Heroics were brutal. Kara was ridiculous unless everyone was already decently geared and new exactly what to do. And the 25-mans were whatever they were. I never did any of those.
After all the myriad of nerfs though it was all doable by just about anyone if you wanted to put out the time to put together a group yourself. I guess I should have been more clear about BC but my statement about WOTLK being way more accessible than Classic stands.
