You know, it's kinda funny, and perhaps I'm from "old skool AC macroing days" but to me, this makes sense. The guy who figured this out was pretty smart and probably put more work into it then someone who actually wins, however, the legions of people who follow in his footsteps don't deserve anything, and there is the problem. One guy gaming the system generally doesn't set things out of wack.

on my destro lock, i solo'd a challenger DK today... legit solo.

clearly the system is flawed. he should have wiped the floor with me. no way he climbed the ladder.

A destro lock can't kill anyone. I call shenanigans.

I, on the other hand, prefer a command-line system 'cause i'm so hardcore
/north /north *You encounter an [Avatar of the god Set]!*
/cast sheild *sheild spell unavailable*
/csat shield *csat: unknown command*
*[Avatar of Set] beheads [Peasant]*

The same could be said for Raid encounters, the first people who figure it out deserve the rewards but not the others who just follow the guide.

If a system in ran by math then math can find the optimal solution.

And typically the guy who finds the solution is rewarded, whether it be naming it after them or what. *shrug* I'm not saying we should start allowing cheating or giving grace to the cheaters, but the guy who "figured it out" gets a bit more respect than the copy cats, whatever it is.

If Blizzard only rewarded the people who actually deserved the rewards the game would collapse to 100k subscribers overnight.

You seriously believe this drivel?

Ultimately Blizzard only "rewards" one behavior, paying for a subscription. That feeling of superiority that beating scripted encounters give you is just to keep you forking over the money. At the end of the day you're just another rat hitting the feeder bar like the rest of us, you just do it with more finesse, congratulations.
