it doesn't matter if you are doing enough dps to down the boss if you pull agro and wipe the raid. you arent supposed to be trying to solo the boss. if you dont have enough other ppl with dps for it then either you need a better tank that can hold agro against your leet dps, or you ought to not do that fight. the fact that you DONT have an easy agro dump is just something to think about when you are playing and adjust accordingly.

for all the whining i see about how bliz is "dumbing down the game", i'd think people would be happy to need to actually think about what they are doing in a fight.

While they are indeed dumbing down the game, there is also the fact that alot of people who are not gamers play. And these people, frankly...suck. Moreover, they are me-me people who think that they deserve to do everything the people who actually know how to play get to do.

THAT is the major problem with WoW. Too many people just flat out suck. You can call me an elitist if you want, but the truth of the matter is, well over 1/2 the people that play WoW are terrible at it, and do not feel any obligation to get better.
