Be very afriad.
I would almost give teh benefit of the doubt and say that our fly on the wall was playing along nicely if he hadn't gone so far as to mention specifics in his reply. Alas, methinks it was not playing.

I guess I'm out of the loop here. I was seriously looking for Slip to see what he was up to. I played DAoC on Tristin and was in Relentless with him. I lost touch with them when I left DAoC for a year long deployment...there was no gaming in the desert back then!
I looked on these boards and found his name, but it looks like he hasn't posted here in years, so I thought I'd see if any friends knew what he was up too.

Yeah, how stupid do you have to be to expect an honest answer to a simple question these days instead of having some random jerk string you along and lie to you for his own amusement? Geez. /sarcasm off
That's more of a sad commentary on this board's habit of jerking people around then it is on the OP for taking someone at face value.

Almost as sad as the folks who hate this place yet can't restrain their pathological need to incessantly whine about it, eh? But then, even that pales in comparison to the folks whose ego forces them to think people teasing them is a personal affront and MUST BE PUNISHED instead of mildly derailing ribbing, which could easily be countered by a good-natured response rather than crass retorts laced with the outrage of sullied personal honor.
