BTWWWWWWW, I didn't ss it but the stars aligned somehow and I crit a boss w/ Mind Blast for somewhere around 117k during a ZA run. Tnat was pretty sweet lol
Prolly had a frost cauldron buff. With a few mobs to AE and that buff it's not uncommon to push 120k dps.

What DPS do you do out if interest??
My Shadow priest sucks balls at DPS  my gear isn't great mind, PVP or otherwise... im lucky to push 12k in heroics.

Idk anything about cauldrons, I was basically just avoiding stuff on the ground and dpsing lol
Idk what my dps was either, I don't really run any addons and never thought to ask as I figured it was abysmal and if nobody said anything then it was good enough and holy run on sentence!

You should be fine as long as you know your rotation, pay attention to the hit/exp caps your class needs, stay out of the fire, ect. At the start of Cata PvP gear was easier to get than heroic gear. I geared up in quite a few pvp pieces just to get me going. I ended up not replacing them until I got into raids because there wasn't much that was better to be found in heroics!

Seems to me I recall there being generous amounts of hit on PvP gear which is a real bonus for some classes. Yes dual-wielders, I am talking about you. I remember gearing my Rogue and having to worry about clearing 17% hit at the very minimum with an eye for more and the PvP pieces made that much easier.

I've only got like 5.3% hit but most of my casts are instant so recasting isn't much of an issue.

I can't even imagine healing on someone other than my paladin. As far as I know none of the other healing classes can match my mana regen and I still find myself running low often.

You only need 6% for heroics. Not a big deal.
