IMHO it is not fast enough this time. By the time 4.3 gets here with new features and things to do.. Several large MMO titles will have gone gold. Along with a large wave of more F2P titles.
I hope those large MMO titles and F2P titles hit like a truck. I really do, seriously ^^.
The competition has been tougher so Blizzard doesn't get so lazy again with the content.

This.
I hope SWTOR and GW2 drop wow by millions more subs, so as to give them the final blow and remove all arrogance, so it can finally get some quality changes.

SWTOR is not the WoW killer we've been waiting for.

As harsh as it sounds... that is exactly what needs to happen to WoW.

Probably not, but that and GW 2 are the best two shots I think at taking more subs away from Blizzard. I think TOR will be able to retain roughly 1-2 million subs, give or take 500,000 up or down, a year after launch. Despite its sameness to WoW it is Star Wars and it does look like it has a certain amount of quality production to the game, I have seen some TOR fanboys state 5 Million eventually . Since GW 2 is F2P there is no way knowing how many people it will "retain." Watching Box Sale numbers will be a big key with that one though in knowing how well it is doing.

I think the biggest issue with that's happening and this announcement is that pretty much no one likes Cata. It's a pretty 'meh' expansion.
They're losing subscriptions and want to get a way to make it back, before other titles come along and make the hole just that much bigger. Heard recently that there more people who have played WoW and stopped and there are playing WoW currently. Says a lot.

My statement isn't a troll. I'm in the TOR beta. I can't say more, but I will say it's not going to make much of a dent in WoW, not more than Cataclysm already has.

In your opinion. Being it's a beta, It's not a final profuct and they don't always show everything.

War does not determine who is right, war determines who is left.
For there is much in life to love. To leave it without sampling the full flavor of life, would be a tragedy.

Sigh the same old tired beta argument. I still remember when I got into the Beta for WAR and played that for a week and half, then the NDA was lifted. I posted my impressions and the glaring matters that were an issue in that game. Yet, I was smacked in the face with the, it's still in BETA! The main complaints that many and most people have with the impressions of TOR, stem more from the fact that it plays similar to WoW. The only two matters that the game has going for it is that it's focus on Story through the Bioware Single Player mechanic system and the fact that it is Star Wars.
If it was anything but Star Wars and a game made by BioWare, it would be just another generic MMO that has come in the last several years with just a Sci Fi theme to it instead.
