It was a joke that didnt turn out as funny as they thought it would. Whatever move on. There are bigger evils in the world than a video game company making a joke that was probably in poor taste but not meant to be a statement about anybody.
To compare homo to n**** is an insult to black people. My brother is gay (as if that gives me authority to speak on the subject) and while yes he has been subject to teasing and bullying growing up, it is nothing compared to what black people experience in our country less than 100 years ago. Not even close.

Oh boy, i stepped in it. I am not saying it is a good comparison, I was just relaying what someone else sensative to the issue told me. My point was that some felt it was tasteless others could care less. Take it anyway you want.
Personally I thought it was ignorant, but they appologized and I am cool with that. Honestly I would have been happier if I hadnt seen this whole thing.
Edit - oh and i take your gay brother and raise you a black brother in law.

Anyone across the world who is into death metal knows who Cannibal Corpse is. I understand they may not be the Jackson Five or Elvis but they do have a large following.

Imus says "nappy-headed hoes" and its a national issue, with people coming from everywhere demanding he be fired, when its his job to be a shock jock.
At the end of the day THIS is the perspective I'm keeping, because I dislike double standards. I think its just a joke that there is such sensitivity with racial matters (if you are black...), and none where sexual orientation is concerned.

1. I don't see many black people committing suicide because of how they are treated.
2. 100 years ago = not still alive. I get tired of people trotting out crap that happened before THEIR GRANDPARENTS were born, and acting like that is somehow relevant IMO. Even if you say in the last 50 years, its still a stretch.

Death metal is a highly niche market. It automatically excludes them from 'world renowned' status.

So I watched the video and it started out with some angry person talking gibberish. I fast forwarded a bit and there was some crappy band playing crappy music. Where in the video was the offensive part?

The video at the very beginning was the offensive part for people. The unbeeped version ruffled alot of feathers.
