I'm with you Jyiiga.

1) There should have been some type of notification about this feature being released prior to them releasing it.
2) You should have been notified prior to losing your guild with all of it's contents.

What really sucks is they'll more then likely not give it back to you.

Well thanks.

It is already a done deal at this point. It turned into a nice little explosion. At this point the guild bank (not much to it, it was for these people to trade mats around) has been looted and everyone has been kicked. An active members has put in tickets to try and get control of it, since it went to a person that does not actually play.

In short the feature caused more drama and heart-ache than just leaving it alone. A few of them went and supported me on the official forums and at least one player, who was fairly active is extremely upset. Upset enough to want to quit.

Great feature huh Arc?

It removed an inactive guild leader, working as intended as far a I am concerned.

This was a guild with a few random people in it. That's only purpose was to serve as a casual means for those people to have a few guild lvls. It was also my alternate banking space.

Thank you for confirming that you weren't a guild leader, in any way.

and thank you for demonstrating your inability to look at anything from more than one perspective.

I never claimed to be and I'm sorry you completely and utterly fail at comprehending my point of view on this.

In the end all this did was implode my little fun guild and drive people away from the game.

Cheers.

So let me get this straight lol...

You're bitching about losing your guild, but you weren't anything more than an occasional customer to its bank.

Do you even read what you type?

You have nothing to stand on here, you lost what you didn't respect as yours.

BOOM ROASTED

You were not involved and do not know what you are talking about.

I am (was) a member of the guild and know completely what I am talking about. I speak as the person who had the most current XP, etc. in that guild.

Jyigga was one of several people who built and leveled that guild with time, effort and money.

The guild was taken over by a noob who contributed literally 0 XP for the sole reason that they were lucky enough to be the first to log in at a certain time. (In the 17 hours between my last log-ins.)

Blizzard's own stated policy in this "usurping" was not followed.

The outcome is inequitable and unjust. Blizzard does not care about keeping guilds alive. It cares about forcing people to pay to log in once a month as WoW dies. That is all this is about. That is why it, and its house slaves, are happy with the outcome. It will keep someone, anyone, subscribing, even though the guild would be better off dead and now essentially is anyway.

It was mine. Simple as that.

I took the time to find a few people to make it.

I set up fun little rank structure and allowed people to pick a title that fit them.

I spent the coin to purchase bank slots for myself. I even had bank slots set up for the casual members to trade crafting materials back and forth.

I had 15,000 coin in the bank that allowed those casual players to do repairs.

Then it was taken away since I do not stare at patch notes every time they come down the pipe. I received no warning about the transfer (and a blue confirmed that I should have).

The guild is now void of life, cleaned out and effectively dead.

I'm sorry you fail to see the problem with this system.

So the only "issue" here is somebody who you feel contributed nothing got the guild instead of you.

You sound as bad as Jyiiga. Does ANYBODY take responsibility for their actions (or lack thereof) anymore?

It wasn't a guild, it was your alternate bank.

Only thing I fail to see is how you can bitch about it. It was your fault.
