Blizz needs to work on the loot roll rules even more.

Happened last night, but there is no reason that someone who is already wearing the tier chest, to be able to roll "need" on the chest token.

Also, there shouldn't be a way for someone to win two tokens off of one boss drop, but I have seen that happen as well.

Hey, genius, there's more than one spec per character and they all wear chest pieces.

hey Genius, LFR was built for casuals. The best way for them to get casuals to keep coming back is for them to have a chance to upgrade their equipment over someone who already has.

And it was a mage. A mage chestpiece is a mage chestpiece regardless of spec. What was he gonna do, grab a second one that had spirit?

This is why you join a guild and/or form a raid group that meets 1-3 times a week on a given timeslot... Dragon Soul normal is still really really really easy.

Here is someone who still just doesn't get it.

"This is why you join a guild..."

If i have to choose between not raiding, or joining a guild...I choose not raiding.

"....form a raid group that meets 1-3 times a week on a given timeslot..."

No. I will not have fun according to a schedule.

"Dragon Soul normal is still really really really easy."

Moot point, if the first two are required.

This is why we have the LFR. Blizzard understands, even if you still don't.

Did you not read my above post are you mentally ill?

I clearly stated that LFR is one of the best things ever added in any MMO and I'm a huge fan of it. I hate those who are exploiting it for loot (even people in my guild do this), but it's still an awesome feature.

Also, it's still pretty easy to go to Org/SW on most servers and just type: /2 ilevel (insert yours) (insert class) LF DS 10 man

I cleared 6/8 with a completely random group last week. Sure, it took about 3 hours, but heck, for it being all randoms it went pretty smooth and most bosses were one shotted.

That's where you're wrong though.

If you have a fire and arcane spec going, your gear is completely different due to attribute needs. I have a lot of double pieces simply for this reason. For Arcane you want as much mastery as possible and haste is rather irrelevant, whereas in Fire you want to have haste and you hate mastery.

So yes, there is a point for two chest pieces for a mage PVE'r.

Thank you Swordz, I lack the energy to deal with that level of stupidity today.

I wasn't responding you your "above post" was I? I was responding to the post that I quoted.

If you can't handle the (well deserved) criticism of what you write, don't write it.
Honestly, while the LFR makes raiding for casuals easier, raiding in general is still a fail concept. Forced grouping in order to see all of the game one has purchased is still the worst model ever conceived IMHO.

Then go read the above post... lol.

Also, if you think the raid mentality is a failed concept you're playing the wrong genre, or you should stick entirely to PvP. Isn't that the whole point of an MMO? Gather with heaps of people in order to take down epic encounters?

No its not the point at all.

In UO the point was maxing your character then world PVP.

In DAOC the point was maxing your character then RVR PVP.

Carebear raiding is by far not the only "point" nor the only endgame of MMO's. It is just the model WoW adopted.

And if you were serious about RvR in DAoC you had to do so with a lot of people. If you were serious about land/dungeon control on ACT you needed to group with people.

Pretty much all successful end-game requires some sort of player grouping.

In terms of WoW you can still experience so much of the game without having to raid. LFR still allows most casual players to experience almost identical fights to those that want to invest more time. I seriously cannot understand why anyone would complain about LFR except for elitists.
