That's gonna be interesting... other forums aren't that tolerant with their kind. They wouldn't survive a week there without getting bans. I guess they are gonna be very bored people when they lose the place where they can look for attention and be nuisances in all impunity.

I've been poking around the IGN boards. Man it is hard to find specific boards, I wonder if they specifically bury them, I had to jump through hoops to find the WoW board, which the last post was Thursday >.<

I hope other boards are stricter, I only get into trouble when I respond to trolls and hypocrites. I gotta find another place to get my information or chitchat now. I've been coming here since the days of AC heyday and posting on the HG boards. Before that was CoD. Not really a fan of the official boards since they delete anything they don't like.

Guess I will keep on lookin'.

These boards are dead because the MMOs that kept them active are dead. DAOC, UO, AC, etc. are all way past their prime and there just aren't that many people still interested in them. For folks interested in newer MMOs there are better places to get up to date information and discuss the game.

MMO-Champion, for instance, is a much better resource for WoW info and discussion. You wouldn't like it there though cause they allow adult language and the trolling over there makes this place look like Romper Room.

I'm reading and posting on MMO-Champion too (not under the "Korrigan" nickname though), and I never noticed an unusual amount of trolling there. Way less than on the WoW forums here. Never noticed an unusual amount of rudeness (which some people call "adult language", which I call "language of people who never stopped being teenagers" either.

Yes, official game forums helped kills these boards, but I know the trolling helped it to the grave. I've absolutely lost count of the number of posters who either publicly or privately said they were done with VN because of the nonstop, venomous atmosphere certain posters created.

I know the reason why certain posters look to create 'conflict and arguments', but I've already stated as much and it does not bear repeating here.

Again, it doesn't matter. It's a done deal. Some of you I know to be good people with the best of intentions. If I ever can, I'll always stand by you and help you in any way.

The rest? Honestly, I wish you no harm, but I won't think about you either.
