Nice to see you putting words I don't mean into my mouth. Make a habit of that very often?
By life support I mean that the player base is so small that it's barely worth keeping the servers up even if there is a slight profit involved.
when is someone put on life support? when they cannot perform the necessary functions on their own in order to sustain life, that is they will die without it. dont call me out for putting words in your mouth because you made a bad analogy.
in this economy most anything that turns a profit is considered worth keeping, so to say something is barely worth keeping because it makes such a small profit sounds ill informed and out of touch. honestly who knows what the profit is like at 15 a month it only takes 20k subscribers to break 3.5m in annual revenue. the cost of running 20k subscribers worth of servers, paying a handful of developers, and a licensing to la should leave a decent profit margin if managed correctly. so for most its quite apparent this has ulterior motives, swtor and soe is working on their own new project. lucas doesnt want another mmo with star wars and soe wants complete control of their product. i think lucas would have probably pulled hte plug even if swg had a subscriber base of 200k, they have way too much invested in swtor.

Just because you are a fan of the game doesn't make my analogy bad. The truth hurts don't it?
Also, I'm gonna have to see some proof that the game was even making a decent profit before I consider your opinion remotely worth considering.

Kind of like how you bait people who still play this game? It's people like you that discourage returning players from re-upping because you say a game is on "life support", only contributing to the slowly degrading population.
