Ya, I haven't been playing much, and my times suck when I do play, so I am almost forced to play on Ywain if I want company.
My play times are from 10Pm to 1:30am PST, and by the time I get on Gaheris there are under 15 people on, and within an hour it gets down to sometimes a couple people only.
I tried Ywain for a little while but RvR just isn't as fun as PvE for me.
Right now I am back and forth between Vanguard and DAoC. Vangaurd has population issues too, but I have been enjoying exploring the vast world.

Neither lately, just can't seem to find the time to squeeze in DAoC. 
For the most part I'm playing on Gaheris, though I have been dabbling on Ywain1 with a Sorc.

I'm guessing you are not yet 50th in Vanguard? It's an awesome game, until you get to 51. Then it slowly changes to utter garbage, with occasional nuggets of awesome that give you hope and keep you playing.

Every problem Vanguard has can be traced back to the fact that the guys in charge of the company while it was in development were reasonably good game designers, but horrid at running a business. When they had to launch early or lose everything, the results were fairly predictable.
