The point is until recently it was listed with the other servers. If it's such a trivial matter then why change it in the first place? Or even better why not change it back? It's not a big deal right?

I understand what you are trying to say perfectly well but I make it a point not to agree with stupid points of view. The people of Gaheris are rightly ticked off that their server is being put into the background where it is more likely to go unnoticed possibly leading to an even smaller population. If I still played here I'd be just as pissed as these guys.

You offer absolutely nothing worthwhile to the topic with your inane statement of "Not sure why you guys are making this much of a fit over it". You don't go around trivializing legitimate complaints with crap like that, not if you want your opinion to be worth a damn.

At this point there are all of two servers: The real one and the alternate one. So why not list them as #1 and #2 instead of #1 and drop down menu which happens to contain only one more server? Forget 'being shoved into a corner' (NOBODY puts Baby in a corner, dammit). It's just plain stupid to have a setup like that.

It does seem like Mythic has gone out of their way to hide the Gaheris (and though it is already dead the Mordred server). All actions have a purpose, and it seems pretty clear that the purpose of this action is to keep new players from knowing the PvE server even exists.

Oh, I defiantly agree, in fact, the past year, I have been cancelling my accounts in protest of some of the things mythic has done.Even if it doesn't do anything, it makes me feel better,lol. I always come back before my houses go poof.

I figured glo, your post just seemed like a good point to segue into what I wanted to say.

I do the same thing.

I gotta say it's amazing how alternative has been interpreted as secondary or less than worthy by EA and the rvr fanboys that think there is nothing else to the game. As far I know it just means another choice neither better or worse, but what do I and every dictionary on earth know?

I'm not badmouthing rvr, but to think that some people "think" rvr was all there ever was or should be in this game is laughable.

I'm guessing they never even saw the game pre ToA or they were one of those people that paid to get 50 and then just lived in the Frontiers (yes I meant to leave out the "new" in NF ).

What I have never understood is why it is going this way. We already have a (loosely termed) MMO out there where you can go right to endgame pvp, it is called Guild Wars. Why is Mythic trying to clone that game of all things?

I think if you look at who bought out mythic it explains a lot. All EA has known before they bought mythic was sports games and shooters for the most part.
