From Mythic s side I can kind of understand. They don't want new players starting out on what appears to be dead server.
When I first started a couple years ago, I went from 1-50 without ever seeing anyone, but I knew there were people there because of /who. 
They could have at least mentioned Gaheris.

I don't understand it glo, because we are part of the same game and pay the same sub fee.
Besides the game is a mmorpg or at least it used to be. It seems to me EA wants to make daoc another online shooter only with swords and magic. Every step to make pve irrelevant is a step towards the game being an elaborate version of tribes in a fantasy setting (if anyone remembers that game).
I think the most annoying part is they are happy to take our money but act like we aren't as important. They should make a decision and quit riding the fence. Either treat us like all the other paying customers or trim the fat imo.
Very well said, and I agree 100%... Do you think we should band together to try and get -SOMETHING- accomplished?? I'm in.

It's like Pentegarn said really. The only other thing I can think of is to organize a week where people canceled the subs. But since everyone's sub isn't synced and for some people you would have a better chance of asking crackheads to quit smoking for a week, I doubt that will ever happen.
If you have an idea I'm all ears though Matt.

Honestly I don't :/.. My Community College level education doesn't permit me to act like one of these "Occupy" peoples and have ideas.. :o

guys, it really is an Alternative server. It was a game made for RvR mostly. It is an Alternative server. It offers something else other than rvr. Not sure why you guys are making this much of a fit over it

it isn't exactly a "Who cares" pile. It only says "Alternative Server". You know, since, it actually IS an Alternative server to the main servers that this game is revolved around  Argue that point all you want, but, it is an alternative server heh

What we're trying to say is that a new player coming to the game will now nothing about the server unless they are weirdly curious or hear it from word of mouth.. The point has been brought up that the population is low, and Mythic doesn't want newcomers to think its a dead game... So theres pros and cons with it I guess

And apparently it is hard to find unless you are looking for it from what I'm seeing here on this thread. If they made it hard to find that sounds like a 'who cares' pile to me, label it whatever you want.
