Did you see the interview with his dad when he just started talking about his new recording studio? It was like he went "oh yeah and also I have this new recording studio...." wtf what a weird ass guy!
LOL I saw an interview with his father where he went on about what a tragic loss it was because he was the "greatest" performer" ever etc....never once did he indicate a sadness for the loss of a son.
As far as the memorial goes, I was forced to hear it as wife watched it while I was on the computer. Made me want to vomit hearing people excuse his actions. The one black congresswoman basically getting racial (As it seems there is a tendency to do with black policitians, QQ) and the "Maybe now they'll leave you alone" comment by his brother, what a joke. Maybe now he'll leave 12 yr old boys alone is more like it.
And to the ones defending him, don't act like the one case is the only time he was accused of it. Matter of fact, in regards to the excuse of not having a childhood, from most reports he tried everything he could to take advantage or another child star who lacked a childhood, and who knows maybe mess him up along the way. Did he succeed? Probably only him and McCualkin know.
I was very pleased that the resolution was shot down in the legislature. Although I was dissapointed at the reason given, stating that his fame and importance was already widely known and no resolution was necessary. Instead of the truth that the U.S. government would rather not have an official resolution honoring a pervent out there.
