I always thought it was like a simple fine and your name goes on a list or something /shrug.

I can't imagine that she would get hired to do anything in criminal justice with a prostitution conviction on her record and anything related to crack addiction. But then again it's Florida and I really am not aware of their hiring practices. I hope she makes your friend happy and that he can see the good in her and not the past indiscretions.

I'm no expert... i also associate committing a felony with going to prison and a minor felony and misdemeanors with jail or "county" as those guys at the bus stations used to say.

29 days is a misdemeanor. Anything over a year and a day is a felony.

Also, I'm assuming that the reason Lexi stopped posting on this thread is that she took my advice and now has another outlet to communicate with.
