I have a few questions please, I could wait for tomorrow but I figured I'd ask now lol.


1. Can you be both sides on the same server?

2. If I pre order can I still get the early start if I pre order the one with the box or is that only for the electronic download one?

yes as far as i know to both sides on the same server (which i do not like for the record)

and i don't know about the pre order. i would assume downloadable only since it is a week before it comes out.

See about that.. I love having the box... but in times I have pre ordered the box and had a code emailed to me with what to download to make it easy.


Uruz... Iron.. with it being both sides on the same server I propose perhaps a bilateral approach. If Iron wants Guardian... and Many of us want Defiance... why not create a haven for both? That way nobody is pressured into a side they do not want, and that way both sides of the coin are established for people wanting perhaps another outlet and choice.

My sister and I did it in MANY games.. my friends often mocked me because my sister would gank me or visa versa and she'd pop in vent talking trash to me and back out. We did it in WoW, we did it in Aion, and in DAoC she played Albion more than any other realm whereas I played Mid and Hib with Mike.

This way everyone is happy, and both sides can get established for when people do want to switch (if), and we all stay together as 1 in vent.. setting up duels and such. I'd vote for that.

That way it would stop any problem with having to pick. Iron is a good leader and wants to play Guardian side... let him.. Uruz and a few of us that started are leaning more towards Defiant... so why not do that? That way we all have people who can choose what they want without anyone making a decision some will regret? Since nobody will 100% agree, why not make a suitable home for both sides?

My sister plans to choose the same side as me for a change... lol

IMO we should try to roll together I'm sure we can come to some sort of basic agreement, as most of us would rather choose friends over factions. As to the number of people, its probably "bigger the better", since many people tend to quit new games shortly after starting them. Although the guild now seems overwhelmingly large, I think it will still seem rather small, as was seen beta before last, in game, especially due to the erratic play times of many of our members. I encourage everyone to come to a consensus and roll one side.


Lexi, the pre-order gets you into headstart, whether digital or physical. Physical pre-orders download the same client, and a new client is given out to digital pre-orders on the release day, where we will get a box instead. No difference in rewards for buying one or the other.

So I can go to uhm... EB and buy the game pre order and I'll get the code on my reciept or something, then when the box comes in I'll get the contents of the item... but I can still start on early release or how would it work?

Right now I believe it will be Uruz and I GMing, I'll be speaking to him later today to work out the fine details.


In whatever case It'd be best to get all of us on the same side at start but as anyone can expect people can have side projects as they wish... Us making a guild on the other faction when we get bored (Providing Xrealming will be allowed/this is still beta) we can make a sister guild on the other side.
