Which games I try tends to be a gut thing. Obviously details like whether a game has PvP and how much raiding is involved matter. But mostly it's do the screen shots and videos grab my attention? I actually decided to play DAOC after resisting playing earlier MMOs because a friend showed me screenshots of his paladin wandering around Stonehenge in Salisbury Plains and I thought it looked awesome.
There was a trailer for Prime last week and it just didn't grab me. There were also a few videos of TOR's PvP warzones and those looked really cool. Maybe it's just that the company behind Prime sucks at creating trailers while Bioware rules at it, but there you go.
Plus I'm an original Star Wars fanboi who got hooked on the IP for life after seeing it in theaters back in '77.

Hey, I had one of the original lightsaber toys as a child. You know, the cheesy Ever-ready flashlight with the black slide on cap/finger guards and the plastic tube with colored lens insert.
Then again, I used to watch Space 1999,the original Battlestar Galatica and ofc Star Trek...
Shit, I really AM old.

Hey now! At least all the grey hair I have is above my neckline....for now.
And yeah, I saw Star Wars was the 2nd movie I ever saw in a theatre.
The first was some old crappy Vampire movie.
Geez, that explains a whole lot about me honestly....
