i don't mean to personally offend anyone but how in the hell can you not understand twitter? by personally i mean on an individual basis. i'm sure it will offend you all if you can understand what i'm typing. i've been told english is a very difficult language to learn.

lol English is tricky!! Maybe "it" doesn't mean Twitter? Maybe we are saying "it" as in the trend? But then again English is my second language.

Someone saying "I don't get it" doesn't mean they don't understand what something is or how it works. In case, it means "I don't understand what the big deal is."

I don't get it, either (the trend, not how to use the stupid site). Of course, I don't get Facebook or MySpace, either. It all seems like a stupid waste of time to me. Then again, so are the VN boards.

lots of people don't get the internet and don't understand why we can't just use encyclopedias and read the newspaper every day either. those lacking intellectual aptitude never "get" the newest way to communicate and share information.  they also often mate with their siblings and live in kentucky or alabama.
