Just to break up the Big 12 talk...

Man Big Ben must be a moron. From the accident, to the drunk pictures, and now a second sexual assault accusation. It's like every offseason he's got to put himself in some position that paints him in a bad light. But two Super Bowls will probably buy you a lot of leeway.

We'll probably never know what really happened with the first accusation, but this one seems dubious. He sexually assaulted her in the middle of a crowded nightclub with lots of people hanging around taking pictures and begging for autographs?

This is why I like the Big 12. In other conferences you would hear about stuff like this, but not in the Big 12. With the exception of Missouri the players for Big 12 schools have enough common sense to stay away from sexual assault charges. I can turn anything into a Big 12 conversation (Just messin with you Ynisfre, Big 12 gets alot of talk on here because most of the active people on the board either go to a Big 12 school or graduated from a Big 12 school).


Ok seriously now, this was very surprising to hear about. I have to believe Big Ben in this case. I mean a Superbowl MVP doesn't need to sexually assualt anyone, he probally has a line of tens waiting to get a chance to have sex with him. Throw in the fact that he was supposed to be in a public place with people around and it just doesn't make a single bit of sense. From a competitive stand point I would love to see him get busted with this so I do not have to worry about him leading the Steelers to another Superbowl.

im of the different opinion...not completly beleiving him...do it once shame on you, do it again..shame on me....what the hell is he thinking putting himself in that position again. i could see this leading to his downfall. better start thinking of looking for a QB in the upcoming draft.

The Big 12 has had a team on top of both basketball polls for all but what two weeks this season? Yeah that is because they suck. We have Seven locks for the tournament right now, which is more than twice as much as the SEC; in fact the SEC will be lucky if they send more than three to the big dance. You can make a case for the Big East being better than the Big 12 but that is all. Big 12 stands above all others. Same can be said for football, we are hands down the second best conference in football. No other conference has a two way domination of the major two college sports than the Big 12 does. We are arguably the best in basketball and the second best in football.

And a legitimate case can be made that the only reason the SEC dominates football is because they rarely ever have to play a true cold weather football game. They would crumble like an ancient ruin if they had to.

Ben grew up maybe 20 miles from where I did. His daddy was a rich elite and Ben was the same way. From what I have heard Ben thinks he is above the law because of his money, which was largely true in the town he grew up in. I hope he gets a reality check this time. He is truly a scum bag of a human being.

It's sad how alot of people can live above the law because they have money. I do not think anything will come from this incident, which is good if he didn't do anything and bad if he did. Regardless I think he needs to watch his act, because he can not afford to have another accusation like this.
