While they were the first of their kind, many bands have done what they did much better than they did it... imo anyway. 
Now the arguement becomes, "Who is more talented? The one who creates or the one who perfects?"
Someone is better at what Pink Floyd does than Pink Floyd?
That sure as hell is news to me. I'm a Floyd fan but not a fanatic, and even I would say that is WAY off base.

Yeah, they hated each other, two of them put together a new band called Islands, and their cd is droppiing sometime in the next couple months.
