I will have to dig out the map to figure out where all this is at. Cuban Food sounds fun.
Beside Tampa and Cape Canaveral we are planning on checking out St. Augustine if any of you Floridians have recommendations on that score.

st augustine is full of slow driving old people and mostly tourists. the town itself is very historic, and if you are into sight seeing and checking out lighthouses, beaches, etc, then you should have fun. there are a few bed and breakfasts, and it pretty much has that "lovers weekend getaway" feel to it if that makes any sense. for us locals its a pita to drive thru due to all the tourists, but its getting more popular each year. several excellent places to eat, and activities, so overall if its a wife/husband combo, you cant really pick a better place to stay for 1-2 days.

Thanks for the info Qwikk. We will be there for our 4th anniversary. I remember it from my childhood (which was a long time ago). I loved the fort at that time.

Thank you Quikk, recommendations the St. Augustine area for places to stay and eat would be nice. We will probably be there about June 3 to 5. Then we head back home.
I forwarded the links that Lynea gave us to my hubby. I think we are going to try to at the very least hit Dixie Crossroads while we are in the Cape Canaveral area. Their menu sounds wonderful.
