Carlon before you quit I would hang around and see what the BZ event is going to bring. I have a feeling there will be some red content coming and am hoping you and shadow will be ready to participate. Maybe you can help bring a new Red Era to TD!
Besides you can always log on to say hi like Thor once and month and do a new quest or 2 and Aug gem instead of quitting. Dont ever quit just hang out part time and do what is interesting from month to month imo.

Personally I think this is a sad argument I have had conflict with both people in the past but you move on. I locked down Aerbex on Berek for 5 hours one night it got sparker all over me for griefing (It is not my fault I want to solo AB over and over) he said both of us need to stop fighting and cooperate. It was good advice because in the end Berek and me put our differences aside. He is a good quest leader that does far more good for the general population that most people out there. If you do not like his methods do not go on his quests. You have to show a certain level of control when you deal with so many different backgrounds and playstyles(see herding cats). That being said Blackmancer is also very good about open quests and did a fair amount of selfless questing to help the general population. It is disappointing to see two people who have different styles not get along with the same idea of helping everyone. If the two of you cooperated instead of pissing each other off imagine what you could accomplish.
As far as the Col comment BIG F**KING DEAL you sound like LOW and other retards in that clan that would always brag about owning one quest when there are 100's of useful ones.
People who help everyone are good for the game there will always be personal animosity between people in AC. My list of people I dislike and who dislike me is as thick as a chinese phone book but I also understand you do not get much accomplished with starting problems with everyone pick your battles.

Personally i blame the lack of Instances and Phases in AC tech, although at this point we should be glad they still keep this thing going at all.
Same goes for Players btw: We are way too few left for such petty quarrels, we should be old enough to work around these minor differences and enjoy the game while it lasts.

You know, I ran quests back in the day and would allow anyone to come along, but if they did something I really didn't like I would boot them. The point is, no matter what it's called it's still Bereks quest. And Berek is here for his own enjoyment, not everyone elses. And if he gets enjoyment from helping other then that is also good for others. And if someone is doing something to take that enjoyment away, well, he's running the quest so he should be the final authority. Berek's not a punching bag, but I have seen people on this server beat him up over stupid crap to satisfy themselves. I really think he's underappreciated here. He seriously does do a great service. If I did not like my last monarch (WS) so much I would have sworn under Berek and as I was it felt like I was being tugged in 2 different directions even though no one ever tried to have me break and swear under them.

Well, I ran Para Queen last night and The Fury clan did not grief it, so I appreciate Blackmancer, et al, for not following up on their vendetta. Although, there are still the quests tonight.
I must admit that I lol'd at Mrs Adventure's torquing of logic and reason to rather bizarre extremes. Nice sig too, lol. Yes, I am the self-proclaimed quest-nazi; "NO QUEST FOR YOU! MOVE ALONG!". I still routinely get 3 fellows on quest runs after 6 years of running public quests, so it can't be too bad.
Awww, you are so sweet Reap! Thanks!
What I find interesting as well are those who criticize me and how I run my quests the most are those who do not go on them, and I do not mean the one offs, as well as those who throw anecdotes about running a quest or two 10+ years ago.
EDIT: For Mrs Adventure's sake; when I say "public", I mean anyone who I have not squelched, i.e., thieves, trolls, griefers, etc., is welcome.

What about when Berek runs 3 Claudes in a row calling out fellow full will do another run - I don't hear people complaining when Berek runs so many times so everyone can go and benefit. Axerbax is different you can't do again for xx days
first and foremost, that's not true, you can actually que up a win right after turning in aerbax, and once your timer is up simply visit the npc in the dungeon to get your next reward.
secondly normally berek runs aerbax more then once to get everyone in if there is more interest then spots, even leading on an alt if necessary.

Actually, for aerbax you have to wait an hour after you talk to the emissary before being able to return. I have learned that lesson the hard way, lol.

I agree with what reapist said the guy is not a punching bag and to run multiple quests constantly is a pain in the ass. He has YEARS of helping people. Its balance no one is perfect and when you are helping for the greater good of the game by helping people you are allowed to have some small quibbles and personality flaws(BFD about dragon shirts I think Ed Hardy shirts are worse). How many people that play AC are perfect and don't one kind of an issue or another? Again the two of you should work together tackle every quest possible consider it like learning the lore of AC almost every quest or event has a back story. Both people in this fight have some amazing positives that could enhance each others game play and general contribution to the game. I can also explain it in a much easier term for the socially challenged: have you ever benefited for any quest with Berek or Blackmancer? Yes? Good STFU and stop complaining. No BS STFU!.
Time for bed night or good morning not sure what time it is in the US

Then my point I've been trying to make is now proven. It is not a public quest, it is what you hated the most years ago and probably still hate today. You're a privater who is running publicly announced private quests. Because you've admitted that fact, I'm done, you've broke everything I can use to create more drama
And I've been on a lot of your quests. Most of the time with you telling me not to run ahead because either we're waiting for someone who missed the last call or someone who died or made the wrong turn or the somewhat rare times even you get lost in a dungeon and have to go check the wiki map. I may not take my mains because they can solo every quest but one that you do, Aerbax's Citadel(but give it time still working on a few toons so I can macro this one). I do that so you never really know who I'm on so I don't have a chance of getting kicked because you might have an issue with me(not really claiming that you would, as you do let me take Jade on your lum quests, but do to our background I think we both know we have a trust issue between the two of us).

*shrug* Label me however you want, but it really makes no difference to me or how I have always run my quests and most likely makes no difference to anyone else, excluding those I have squelched, of course, lol. I seriously doubt that you have been on a "lot" of my quests. For example, Jade has come on one and only one lum xp quest, which was the shadow investigation, which is a very quick quest and you waited for us at the bottom of the stairs. Of course, a "lot" is a relative term and in any case, you would only be part of a tiny fraction of those players who regularly join my quests that have issues as to how I run those quests. Again, if you don't like my methods, then don't go.
