I was not going to make a statement here, but I thought I would simply put on the table the reasons for my actions and anyone can make of them what they will.

I am sure that there will be a plethora of negative points made against me and how I run my quests or against me in general and I have no doubt that much of it will be twisted facts or simply outright fabrications, but in any case, Blackmancer has sworn to grief all of my quests because I booted him from an Aerbax fellow.

I told Blackmancer to stay away from my quests; UCMers

I called out an Aerbax run last night.

Blackmancer said "I will bring one".

I said "no".

When I got to the NPCs and joined the fellow I saw that Blackmancer was in the fellow.

I asked Blackmancer to leave the fellow and let Mythological in.

Blackmancer said "I was here first".

I booted him from the fellow and told him that he was not welcome on my quests and to review the above VN link as to why.

From that point on he gathered a posse of his clan and swore vengeance, clan war and an end to my running public quests.

While his machinations may be problematic to me, I will not be the one who will be impacted the most.

As always, my points have been and are; if someone participates on my quests I ask only that they stay with the group and pay attention to instructions, if that is something that someone cannot do, then I ask them to not come on my quests. If someone does not like how the quests are run, then they simply should not go.

My ultimate and primary goal has always been to have everyone complete the quest and to get their reward, if anyone compromises that goal, especially when conscious of doing so, again, they would not be welcome on the quests I run.

This will be the only post on this subject that I will make here.

It was a pure accident I was in your fellow to begin with because I thought I was helping G T.

I was talking to him in tells and in /cg because G T was the one that said he needed a couple more for Aerbax. I was trying to help G T because he always helps on quests that I run so I went to MP and was recruited and ran to the end of the Aerbax dungeon and the whole fellow sat there for 30 minutes waiting on Berek to show up. The rest is correct, Berek shows up and promptly asks for leader and boots me.

The Ironic thing is that Berek has actually purposely screwed over quests in the past (ditching out on col win run because he could not handle being given directions nicely) and yet I still have accepted him on a Col win run I did.

To be honest I have no interest in ever joining a quest led by you anyway. There are 100 better things to do in AC then sit around while you try to read some walkthrough and shout orders and threats to people that they better not step out of line.

But don't worry, when i do decide to grief a quest run by you I will be red so you have your chance to stop me.

The second you start rejecting people its no longer a public quest. Its a public announced private quest. With your other post trying to say they jumped your quest, If you get to the dumgeon and there is a group or person there you then sir are the person jumping someone elses quest. You say they jumped your Harby, yet he was down there attacking for 30 mins before you and your group jumped his quest. Personally if I were you.. I'd stop announcing your private quests publicly.

Even Teshi when she ran public quests, if someone she didn't like or had issues with showed up they were welcome to come along because it was a PUBLIC quest for the PUBLIC not a private quest announced publicly for those that she approved of.

By the way Mr. Self proclaimed Questmaster and best quester is Thistldown's history, have you lead single winning col run yet? I would only think a man of your quest status could do at least that a bare minimum.

Mi abuela hizo que lo hace.

usually Berek calls out full when a quest is limited to 1 fellow of 9 -

if Blackmacer just shows up at the quest starting point without identifying that he wants in - at the beginning - isn't just like an uninvited guest at your grill? You only have 9 hot dogs but now you have 10 mouths to feed.

If everyone was forced to use CG then this would work. However they're not, so this whole "he announces" or his claim of "I ask in CG" isn't a point worth standing on.

I have no clue who appointed you judge and jury. It's obvious you're not qualified being you're biased. There is no fire to fuel here. Move on.

This thread almost makes me want to come back...

I remember when I used to run public quests... I'd actually let the entire public come with the group. If they "got out of line", no biggie. We had enough strength and organization to complete the quests anyway. If people wanted to ruin the quests, there really is no way to stop them (back when there was no RED on TD). I just sat back and offered to re-run the quest later. That kind of took the steam out of those who would destroy public fun.

Now this poser thinks he can say who can and who can't do a quest? That's funny.

I applaud his stated goal, I condemn his straying from the goals. Tell me how this all works out! *Glued to my seat*
