I think we're all a little biased, even you Tao.
If you're going to hold a PUBLIC QUEST don't call it a public quest if you're not allowing the public to go on it. Berek has turned into the one thing he hated at Col =/ He always called us "elitests" because we picked carefully who we would allow on our PRIVATE Col runs, he mocked us and called us out on it. Yet its perfectly fine for him to do it on his so called PUBLIC quests because he isn't an "elitest" like the people who pick who gets to go on their Col runs. He is just something else, like a quest master who does nothing but greatness for the server running publicly announced private quests, kicking who ever he feels is not up to his standards of greatness.

Honestly, I do my best to not be biased. You on the otherhand sound like one of those screaming at the top of their lungs, "crucify him!! crucify him!!" I have stepped aside in a spirit of live and let live many times only to be trampled on yet again. I have seen elitism at it's best and worst. I continue to assert that there is plenty of room in this game for everyone. Yet there are still those to prove me wrong. I'm certain there are those who honestly don't know they're intruding on others gameplay and more who don't care. I'll continue to walk my path of noninterference, live and let live but when someone clearly steps into my path and has plenty of options to go other ways I will say something....

all the arguments about letting all come are BS this is a locked quest with 9 people - more than 9 can go at one time.

You're right its a locked fellow, to call it a public quest then kick someone after the fellow is formed(though gem not dropped to lock the quest) because you don't like them makes it a private quest that is publicly advertised not a public quest that is publicly advertised. Is there any part of that not slamming you in the forehead making you go "oh that's what he means!"? I've got no issue with the fact he runs these quests, I've got no problem with him picking his "group" to run on the quest. I've just got a problem with his claim that he runs these quest as a PUBLIC service to the server, when its a private server offered to whom ever he wants.
It would be like being one of those "elitist" col run quests that looked for pubbers needing a win to finish out a fellow, but not taking them because they "insert some reason here" to "insert char name here" even if they had every other requirement meet for the group.

While I am sure a top notch team can do this fairly easily, this now brings a win within reach to those who don't have rares to spend like tapers or are part of an elite cliche.
Other great posts to quote for those saying he openly posts in CG about the quests....

you may also get a better response if you get off the /cg channel. a lot of people have it perma squelched for the utter stupidity on it.

What about when Berek runs 3 Claudes in a row calling out fellow full will do another run - I don't hear people complaining when Berek runs so many times so everyone can go and benefit. Axerbax is different you can't do again for xx days

I remember when I used to run public quests... I'd actually let the entire public come with the group. If they "got out of line", no biggie. We had enough strength and organization to complete the quests anyway.
Now this poser thinks he can say who can and who can't do a quest? That's funny.
Red sums up my exact philosophy quite well. If I announce a quest then I really dont care who wants to tag along or in the case of a locked fellow I dont exclude people if I dont like them.
The only time I ever excluded anyone from a quest was a couple people for a Col win run because they didnt have slayers or fists. In some cases I went as far as to let them loot my GY chest keys and gave them the 15 coins and weapon glyph for a soulbound. I did that for Thray and dont even like him lol. The way I see it is we have 100 people who play this game on TD, we are way past the point of questing with only certain people or cliques.
Besides I lose the right to say who can or cant go on a quest once I announce it publicly. In the case of Col win runs youll notice most people put it in their announcement that they are "ISO mages with fist and slayers" or "ISO col ready players"

No problem with that what so long as he doesn't do one of those public announcement's then decides to kick someone and replace them because he has some issue with them.
If you're going to make it public you have to let the public go on it.
Its kind of like Jade, if the free service tinker bot suddenly had issue with a person and banned them from using the bot, but didn't ban them for abusing the bot based of abusing the bot, but because of other issues on another char(because there are a few of those banned), would it be any different then doing what Berek did?

But don't worry, when i do decide to grief a quest run by you I will be red so you have your chance to stop me.
That's the only thing I don't like about this drama
PKL I'd be OK with because you can get people to go PKL these days, but getting people to go red takes a turbine event

Mostly the reason im quitting again. Turbine needs to take pkl out and make a reason for people to PK again. Land war, society or something. People need to man up and do something challenging.
