Lieing can ruin life. If your wife (or husband) lied when they said they loved you, would that ruin your life?


Sure lieing about your gender isn't as directly tied to rl or as big as the idea I suggested above but it's on the same general premise.


How about another scenerio, your favorite (or only) vassal was lieing to you when they said you were a good patron and leaves you. Sure you can move on, but haven't you been hurt? Maybe you can just suck up the lies over the years of how great a patron you were and such, but I would be very sad.


If Kaede lies about something like her gender what keeps it from lieing about other things? Maybe it has even been lieing about it's friendship with you in game. And as for the question you asked, no it dosen't matter at all wheither it is a he or she, what matters is that it has been lying to you and the rest of it's friends for 2 years. I just wonder what other things it has been lying about...


Edit: And this "they'll get over it" crap that Kaede is saying just makes it worse. It's like stealing 20 smalls from someone and being like, Oh, they'll get over it. It doesn't even care (or stop to think) that it may have harmed people or destroyed trust it had with people by lying for so long...

Kaede can be male/female/black/white/etc. He can claim to be whatever makes him feel best about him.

You are hating just to hate. Stop and think what means something in life and is it worth worrying about it. Then come back and think about it.

Kronak, your point is good but still off. Lieing about the pointless and lieing to hurt others is different. Lieing about gender over the internet doesn't affect anything. Your life partner telling you they love you when they don't hurts your being. Saying it's your child when it isn't hurts your being. Saying he or she is that or this about themself doesn't affect you.

I disdain liars tho. And yes, I do get upset when some lies to me, no matter how "trivial" the issue is. Hey, if you don't mind being lied to, that's your business.
