I would be pissed that I was lied to plain and simple. What good reason is there to lie to me? Answer, none. I'm a big boy, I can take the truth. Just don't pull the wool over my eyes for (however long) and then be honest when it's convenient.
If being lied to by a friend doesn't bother you in the slightest, because it was a "harmless" lie, perhaps you should wonder what else someone would lie about.
It isn't about *what* the lie was, it's about lying in and of itself. Why is that such a foreign idea to you ?
