Well, yeah, if you were the type to be nicer to someone because they were female IRL. I gotta be totally blunt here: if you're that type of person, I'm not gonna cry any tears for you. Welcome to gender equality.
I mean, I've known Kaede for a long long time, and he hasn't ever flirted with me to get anything. Which is pretty much the key to it for me. No suggestive comments, etc., etc. So I don't feel like my trust was abused.
If... um, who's a good example. I don't really hang out with people who flirt to get in-game advantages, so I can't think of any good examples. OK, skip thinking of someone else.
If Youkay says that Kaede always used to come on to him to get him to help with Aerlinthe, then I'd say that was pretty slimy. But if Kaede just said he was female, and never traded on that, then I'm pretty firmly of the opinion that it's not really a big issue.
And again, I'm 90% sure that if Zaronji came out as a female she wouldn't get all this crap. Of course, people basically like Zaronji and a lot of people don't like Kaede that much. That probably also has something to do with it.
