Thats why Im still hanging on to my WRT54G, because an obvious replacement just does not exist based on reviews. Its like they all got together again and promised not to make a router that is as good as that one (with tomato anyway).

I'm going to stick with my Linksys for now too, but keep my eye open for an good N replacement.

I'm not an EE, but the power supply of the Asus router that failed was very light and cheap feeling compared to the old Linksys WRT54G. It might be a coincidence but I think the router failed when I was moving a lot of files from my desktop to the WHS.
