They, the powers that be, are going to nuke this board that has traffic every day for a board that has traffice once a month. ???
It has posts from yesterday. Though it is slower than this one.

As for the merger, I'm surprised they aren't keeping this board, it gets decent traffic even though it's not hammered.
*edit* And if Ravyn isn't in charge of that board then I want nothing to do with it.
I haven't been asked to moderate (think they have moderators over there already). But I'll be hanging out there... so long as I don't end up talking to myself, I've been told that's not healthy.

It seems the way of the world at the moment to "improve" everything people like by turning it into crap, in search of an extra few pennies from eg cross-sales (which never materialise).
... then the company either gets bought out and then disappears or files bankruptcy.
I will never have anything to do with IGN after this.

Looking at a couple of their community boards, typical topics are best summed up by the titles "Have you ever touched another man's penis?" and "Would you have sex with an alien?".

VN community boards any different? I typically stay away from them out of fear what's going on there is contagious and my IQ might drop.
