I am happy to vote for Obama again. The worse you can say about him is that he largely maintained the status quo. At least he didn't cause the kind of mayhem to our country that Bush did. And I think his handling of the depression was a lot better than four more years of tax cuts and deregulation would have been.

At least half the people now running around trumpeting "Ron Paul 2012!" were ardent Obama supporters, but now they're racists??

this makes minimal sense. bush caused mayhem, obama continued all of bush's policies. and he extended all of bush's tax cuts. when the status quo is a train wreck, how is it acceptable to maintain the status quo?

Well, pretty much the best you can say about him is he didn't decide to invade two Brown countries and spend trillions doing it, and he didn't cut taxes on rich people even further.

I don't think it's irrational to say Obama hasn't been as bad as Bush even if he has continued many of the same policies. Because Bush didn't just continue problems, he went out there and created new ones. For Obama to be as bad as Bush Obama would also have to be going out and creating new problems on top of the ones we already have.

Obama's main fault is that he hasn't really done anything to make things better. Not that he wrecked things to begin with. He's a failure, but a different, less awful sort of failure.

Obama is far far worse than Bush. Because he's not man enough to think for himself. He's only following the roadmap that was already laid out for him.
