man that is one hall of a lot of energy all parties are putting into it, having had some experience with bullies in the past, I can understand where Gabe was coming from on that, but seriously.....who cares about this guy, he got smashed, let it go and move on, maybe he will earn from it and be a better businessman maybe not, but wtf cares....

Let's not forget this whole thing started because the company shipped preorders up to three months late after taking peoples money. The whole hiding behind handicapped kids thing is disgusting to.

Except the guy didn't do that. He did hide behind his kid(s)...but you've done that too.

Rik is right. Only passive aggressive internet nerds who never had any real power in life would get all hot and bothered over this orgy of pettiness. It's like an action movie to them.

Yeah - imagine someone getting angry on an online forum and aggressively arguing their opinions. Who would do that?

You're comparing the challenged slap fights we have here to this orgy of nerd outrage?

The OP is not like that. Most of us here are not affected, emotional or immature enough to spend a lot of time and effort digging into posters real lives and perpetrating actual attacks on their lives, careers and/or person.

Most of us anyway.

The ability for the consumer to share experiences is a great part of the internet, but no one should be cheering this frontier justice and stalking. Fat adolescent nerds are going to cross the wrong kind of money enough times that corporate America starts concentrating its lobbying strength on internet regulation.

Good - then the real war can start. Corporate America needs to be burned to ash and utterly destroyed. I don't care if their heads roll in the street; I hope it is so.

Fully half the population is ready to fall on its knees and suck the corporate cock at all times. Corporations have a 130 year head start on shaping our laws and society to their needs. We aren't heading toward a post corporate world, no matter what happens with the Intertubes. We're heading for a post democratic world where corporations render governments more or less irrelevant.
