I have the opposite problem than being pussy whipped.

I am destructively indifferent. My relationships usually end with an ultimatum from them and me looking at them like they're stupid and then walking away. I'm not trying to portray myself as some hardcore badass who doesn't give a shit, I just genuinely don't give a shit, especially in the face of the irrational or stupid.

I'm sure some day I will meet a woman who isn't stupid or (overly) irrational who will cause me to care enough to put up with crap but until then I can't be bothered.

i know exactly what you mean. i have the same problem. i want what theyve got between their legs, but i dont care enough to want to force myself into a relationship just so i can get laid. i was born without the desire to get married and pair up like the rest of you seem to have, or it was never pushed into my head as the norm while i was growing up.

Jordan, empirical evidence supports your position: Age and wisdom are not positively correlated (e.g. a young person may be just as wise as an older person. It depends on the person). However, this observation, in itself does not provide a persuasive argument. Neither does your observation: He is single therefore his thinking on women is flawed. I was married for 36 years. This, too does not mean jack. It means I can co habitate with a woman for a long time. In addition, nobody on this board argues how important it is to get in touch with your anima (i.e. female side) as a man. Its wise to be aware of boundaries.

So what is important- the fact pattern? It is a fallacy to generalize, but, the message is be aware how high you jump when she says jump. If it is unreasonable then you can categorize, non judgmentally as pussy whipped behavior. I used a continuum in my original example. To be sure, labeling is dicey business

My wife has been trying to change me since we met, what is it with some women that they can not accept a man as he is? I didn't want my wife to change, I married the woman I wanted, I accept that she has changed but it hasn't been at my request.

You can't change anyone except yourself. If she is demanding, your refusal wont necessarily change her. She will get the message: "Hey, I cant train him the way I thought." There is a big gap between what women conjure in their youth as their fantasy dream man and what we actually turn out to be.

Everyone is perfect as they are. How can it be otherwise? However, we can change things which make our life different-sometimes more harmonious. We get to choose. Choosing is power.

Pretty much this for me too. I do what I want, when I want. Unless I'm married to you, I'm not gonna stop doing what I please because you don't want me to. When the ultimatum comes around, I never even pick it. I just keep doing what I want and let the chips fall where they may. Women who give ultimatums are dumbasses and I won't give them the satisfaction of making me choose one of their options. I'll choose my own: Find new pussy.

Funny that I talked to a woman the other day who didnt get enough sleep and got mad at her boyfriend and told him not to pick her up at work because she didnt want to see him. Guess what he didnt and she called all upset wondering why he didnt come and pick her up anyway. It then took her an extra three hours to get home lol
