A welfare kid costs us several hundred thousand by the time it grows up to be a welfare mom. But I bet welfare moms would be lined up waiting to take $10k to get fixed.
Yeah. Although there is some cognitive dissonance here with the typical right-wing talking points on welfare that cast welfare moms as calculating moochers bent on getting the most money they can by having lots of kids.

I find it funny that folks who have never been poor, truly poor, are experts on the workings of the impoverished.
I grew up poor. I am by no means rich now but at least comfortable. I have 3 kids (we had them while poor) and no one paid for it but us. We had EBT for awhile when I was laid off and got off it as soon as I had a job again which at the time was only paying 8 dollars an hour, but in a wrecked economy you take what you can get.
My point is that everyone who is poor is not willfully so and do not want to stay that way. To think the majority of poor people wish to remain so and are doing it on purpose is fucking stupid. Not to mention snobbish. The way most of you talk you were never poor but you by god earned every penny it took to get your penthouse and super model girlfriend. Would not be surprised if over half of you were given money to start out on, had your college paid for by mommy and daddy, or your house/car payments taken care of by said parents.
See what I did there: I made a generalization based on a sampling of maybe 2 or 3 people on here. Kind of like saying all poor people are that way because they are uneducated and they prefer to stay that way because you see some crack head doing it on the news.
