No. Here is the problem.
Everything that Obama has done that pisses me off....is where he agrees with the Republicans, which he does way too often.
He has also done some great things that I highly approve of....just watered them down too much to make Republicans happy and push the bills thru.
So, my choice is between a guy who acts like a Republican part of the time, and a guy who will act like a Republican all of the time.
Not a great choice, but I have no hesitation in making it.

No, they both don't do the same thing.
No Republican would have pushed thru health care reform act, bad as it is...it's a hell of a big step in the right direction.
He killed OBL. 8 years and a big zip from the Republicans on that one.
He stood up to the lies and stupidity and bailed out the Auto industry. No Republican would have.
Don't ask, don't tell is gone. No republican would have done that.
Lilly Ledbetter act. Again, no Republican would have.
Just off the top of my head, there are hundreds more. I hate his stance on national security, war, Gitmo, Executive power and many others. But then, he agrees with the Republicans on them.
I get a lot better president by voting for him than by voting for anyone else. I know you "conservatives" can't understand compromise and dealing with imperfection instead of throwing a fit and taking your ball and going home...but we can.

I didnt vote for McCain and didnt vote for Bush's 2nd term and if Romney wins the bid i wont be voting for him either. Be a man and find an alternative instead of a drooling lemming. People like you is why we will never get out of this 2 party mess we are in.

The alternative is the same as it was in 2000....it gets a Republican elected. No thanks. Our system is broken, it's not going to be fixed by voting for some schmuck who doesn't stand a chance in hell of ever taking office. That isn't "taking a stand", it's "letting the bigger asshole win".
The fix will take people standing up out in the street. If you really care, go join an occupation, it will do a hell of a lot more good than pushing a button once every 4 years and getting nothing in return.
