Knowing how bad cigarettes are on your lungs you aren't selling smoking a joint very well.
maybe this study means that some of the "facts" about cigarette smoke are falsified or exaggerated?

I would imagine that if people took a straw and did deep breathing exercises simulating pot smoking(take a deep breath and hold for a few seconds 20-30 times) they would get the same lung improvement if not better.
Smoking pot has negative health effects it destroys the cilia in your lung and causes Chronic bronchitis in a large percentage of its regular users and I'm sure there are other negative effects but they are not cigarettes and all smoke is not equal,comparing the two is nothing more than propaganda I wish would stop.

There are healthy ways to consume cannabis.
There are no healthy ways to consume tobacco.
There two plants are totally different. Smoking anything is going to be bad for you.

My Dad did that once...got into my uncles stash of pot brownies.
He was convinced he was dying...and they finally called 911. The Doc came out and informed him that he had THC and they eventually figured it out.
Needless to say Dad went on a "Now I've tried it...why the hell would anyone want to feel that way?" tirade.
