When I die, the world decomposes.

The world as I know it ends when I die. Not that the world I'm living is that great

When You Die Your Brain Decomposes

I had always wondered that when you're dead and your brain starts to decompose if the decomposing process causes parts of the brain to reactivate. So you have like a slide show as the circuitry gets booted for some micro seconds. If you get cremated it would be several slideshows going on. I mean for people that think that there is no spirit wouldn't this be a plausibility?

Why? the heat could activate some neurons. I'm no saying you would sit up and say hi, but could it be that all those stored memory could start playing randomly. Just enough heat to cause a reandom thought.

Mostly the same reasons you can't "re-play" a second of Battlefield 3 on some shard of your broken CPU.

Dreams don't go by the same temporal boundaries that we experience as being awake. When one dies they dream and even though in reality we might die, our perspective has been switched to our dream which can go on for eternity
